Nice for a cover up but this one is very sheer and not for a garden party as the description suggests also not silky soft like the classic kaftan.
This was a beautiful cover-up, I love the fabric and the fit was perfect.
The Greek Islands have a distinct aesthetic — whitewashed buildings, blue Aegean Sea, cobblestone streets, and Mediterranean light that makes everything photograph beautifully. The unwritten dress code is "effortless flow." Think breezy maxi dresses, lightweight kaftans, sandals you can walk cobblestones in, and a palette that complements the blue-and-white architecture of Santorini, Mykonos, and Paros.
Here's the exact packing list we recommend for a 10-day Greek island-hop, organized by piece. Every item below is in stock at Club Moda and ships free in the US.
Greek island days mean a lot of walking — uphill, downhill, on cobblestones, in heat. A flowy maxi dress is the smartest daytime choice: it breathes, it doesn't require styling, and it works for both a museum and a beach club lunch.

Resort chic. Caftans, maxi dresses, and elevated cover-ups are standard daywear. Most clubs allow swimwear with a cover-up at the table. Evenings call for something more polished — a flowy midi or embellished maxi.
Greek islands are very relaxed — bikinis are normal on beaches and short dresses are fine in towns. The only exception is visiting monasteries or churches, which require shoulders and knees covered. A kaftan or long cover-up handles this.
No — Greek islands are dry-hot rather than humid. Temperatures hit 85–95°F in summer but without the heaviness. Linen, cotton, and rayon all work beautifully. Polyester still feels uncomfortable.
Late May through early October. June and September are the sweet spot — warm but not crowded. July–August are hottest and busiest.
